Gross Domestic Regional Product of Kepulauan Aru Regency by Expenditure, 2019-2023

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data sets that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region. According to macroeconomic theory, the calculation of GDP/GDP can be done through three approaches, namely the production/provision approach (GDP/GDP by Business Field/industry), the expenditure/end demand approach (GDP by Expenditure) and the income approach (GDP by income/income). The three calculation approaches will theoretically produce the same GDP /DRB figures. This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to the expenditure/demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditure, Consumption Expenditure of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Inventory Changes), Exports and Imports. This publication has used the 2010 base year GRDP data, and improved the scope and methodology with reference to the latest System of National Accounts (SNA 2008).
